Finally, Prelims are over~! Here's another blow... the RESULTS...

Well, this time round, I stepped down from my CCA and Prefectorial Board. No more distractions~ I seriously did try to catch up and I IMPROVED~! However, my grades were still not very good. I think my first 3 months for JC is gone case for me... I got a C6 for Pure Geography, A1 for MT, F9 for Add Maths, B4 for E Maths and English, Science and combined Humanities are still unknown. :( Should be in dead meat le.

I'm now left with only about a month plus to "O" Levels. It's like so fast and suffocating me~! We even got a "gift" from the school and we got to record down how many hours we study in a week till 24 Oct which is 1 week from "O" levels. Minimum 30hours of studying per week~! May sound a lot but actually i find it quite alright la~!

Ok, that's all for today la... got to go study for my BIG "O" le~!

This is a poem titled " The mother" given by Mrs Dass during Literature and I found is very touching and true to our hearts. Hope whoever who visits my blog would be touched by it too.
The mother

Abortions will not let you forget
You remember
the children you got that you did not get,
The damp small pulps with little or with no hair,
The singers and workers that had never handled the air.
You will never wind up the sucking-thumb
Or scuttle off ghosts that come.
You will never leave them,
controlling your luscious sigh,
Return for a snack of them, with gobbling mother-
eye.

I have heard in the voices of the wind the voices of
my dim killed children.
I have contracted. I have eased
My dim dears at the breasts they could never suck.
I have said, Sweets, if I sinned, if I seized Your
luck
And your lives from your unfinished reach,
If I stole your births and your names,
Your straight baby tears and your games,
Your stilted or lovely loves, your tumults, your
marriages, aches, and your deaths,
If I poisoned the begginnings of your breaths,
Believe that even in my deliberateness I was not
deliberate.
Though why should I whine,
Whine that the crime was other than mine?--
Or rather, or instead,
You were never made.
But that too, I am afraid,
Is faulty: oh, what shall I say,
how is the truth to be said?
You were born, you had body, you died.
It is just that you never giggled or planned or cried.

Believe me, I loved you all.
Believe me, I knew you, though faintly, and I
loved,
I loved you
All.

Xinni smsed me last night to confirm with me the time for today's geography remedial at around 10.30pm and it was supposed to be at 9.30am today.

When I reach school today, i saw Song Yong and Reinier and we started talking till about 9.30am le and no one else came... Boon Yen and Xinni were late today. When we went up to the staff room to look for Miss Chua, there we saw Jeremy. Though onlyXinni, Boon Yen, Song Yong, Jeremy and I went for the remedial, it was quite a beneficial session. We got back our Geography Paper 1 today and i scored a 28 out of 40. Not really very good :(

We ended at around 10+ near 11am because Ms Chua is going to the hospital to visit Mrs Gan who had just given birth to her child. Guess what? It's a Baby Boy~! Haha funny Jeremy say the Boy's name call Gan Bang Bang... Haha~

After that Boon Yen, Xinni and I board a bus 33 and went to Tiong Bahru Plaza. At the bus stop, I met Kian Hwee and Anthony who are also going to Tiong Bahru. Kian Hwee told me that they have written down a list of reasons for why i should be back to serve Queenstown NPCC unit. I was shocked~! They cared for me? I thought, i am already forgotten by the juniors for i have already stepped down. It makes me wonder, are they sincerely wanting me to help the unit or what. They said they want me to be back but, guess, all those reasons were written by who, came up by who? Kian Kiat~! Maybe, he's the only one who really wants me back and not the rest ba... Should I be back to Queenstown? Or, should I just be a HQ CI who dun belongs to any unit?

When i reach Tiong Bahru Plaza, Me and Xinni followed Boon to buy bubble tea and then to the spectacle shop to buy Boon's contact lens. After that, we went to More than Words and I bought myself a coin bank. It's a cow~! (actually i wanted a pig, but the pig is too ugly... the cow is cuter) =P

After that we went dispersed and we all left Tiong Bahru Plaza to go to elsewhere and I went to have lunch alone at KFC before going to Kwang Beng's house. I showed him the coin bank and he said he wants to join me and put money into the coin bank with me and this coin bank now belongs to not only me, but him too~! He said that when the coin bank is full of money, we'll open a joint-bank account. Haha... I really laughed infront of him and he only smiled. Well, who knows? Maybe he is really serious. Today Kwang Beng and I put in $2 each in the coin bank le. And we promised to put a dollar each time each day into the bank until the cow is really heavy haha~! Yeah~! Let's see how heavy the cow will weigh at the end of the year~!

Yes~! Monday is the last paper and it's only a 1 hour MCQ paper... Can go home @ ard 9am le... Can sleep and sleep and sleep... never get very good sleep during the prelims period... :(

Today, Iwent to Bugis with Mei Xin and ate my lunch at Burger King. After that we went to this shop that sells lanterns. When i saw the exterior of the shop with so many lanterns of all kinds hanging there, then i remembered... oh ya, Mooncake Festival is coming!

My family doesn't have the habit of celebrating Mooncake Festival but when we were all young kids, my parents bought lanterns for us. As we grow older, we seemed to forget about our own culture, traditons, slowly westernised.

The candles and lanterns are now in my house's storeroom now collecting dust. I think, this year would be another lonely Mooncake Festival staying at home.

After today's paper i am all exhausted. Didn't have enough sleep all these while, burning mid-night oil for the prelims. Finally a day where i have no paper -- tomorrow~! Yes~!

Today's paper was rather difficult i couldn't really finish both my literature elective paper and my E-Maths paper. Somehow the Prelims seems to be out to kill us. I think i can forget about my first 3 months of going to a JC le. Sobz.

I still remembered the super-teen workshop. So many of us were so motivated by Ernest Wong and we promised to get 6As, 7As and even 8As. But take a look now, the kind of results we were getting, the As are like so far away beyond our reach. Maybe i should not be so pessimistic and should look at the brighter side of life instead . But i just couldn't seems so control.

I'M LOSING MY MIND SOON~!

argh~!
