Morning call at 7 in the morning and breakfast at 7.30am. The guide would pick us up at 8.30am. On the way when we go to our first destination for the day, we went pass the MRT station near our hotel for the the previous night. Even their MRT station looks so ancient.....
The first place that we are going to visit for the day is the Taiwan Famous 圆山大饭店. It has a long history of decades and it was initially built to host overseas delegates of the government worldwide. Only government officials from local and overseas are allowed to stay in there. However, over the years, it was opened for public to stay in now. The hotel still kept its original oriental taste. Look at the building... it looks very ancient right?

My brother and I

From the hotel, we can see the Taipei 101 Tower... It definitely has great view....
After the visit at the 圆山大饭店, there is still time so we head off to somewhere that the guide brought us there. I couldn't remember what is the name of the place there. But we go there to use the toilet plus enjoy the view there for about 30 mins to stretch ourselves after sitting in the bus for a long bus ride of about 1 hour plus.

Toilets~!

Loads of people staying under the shade to enjoy great view along the lake....

Shops nearby....

Bicycle rental... you can ride bicycle and enjoy nice view by the lake.... kind of like singapore's east coast park...

I think this bike looks cool... Singapore do not have it... so haha I took a snapshot of it.
Alright, that's enough and we got to board the bus and continue our journey to have our lunch followed by visiting of the Taiwan's Native Cultural Village to see the different Native groups culture and dance.
Along the way I took snapshots of things and places which I think is interesting and beautiful...

This is a padi field where rice is grown... We dun have it in Singapore... so yea.. *SNAP*

This is when we are going up the mountain and was taken on the bus. The mountain is really tall and it reached the clouds... does it look like Genting???

Along the expressway.... Look at the sea~!

Look at this great mountain...
Finally reached the cultural village... we're waiting for the show time to arrive.... so meanwhile I just take pictures around the place.

This is where we'll go in later for our show...

Wow~! Manly and strong isn't it? Statue of a Native Man
Time to go in to the show.... this is the stage and haha in order to try and not to get caught to do stunts later... We quickly chiong the centre of the row and not the sides.... and the view here is not too bad.... =)

The Master of Ceremony is out~! It's about to start... Pictures below are photos of the different native groups dancing their own cultural dance.....

Bamboo dance that we're all familiar with...

Their performance ended and as we predicted, they went around catching people to join them on the stage to dance their cultural dance... my brother got caught and was very "on" haha... the orange shirt guy is him....

The MC went around to take pictures for people who are dancing with the native people... and below is the picture of the results.....

This is not FOC... my mother bought it for my brother at 400 taiwan dollar which is = SGD 20
After that was dinner and below is a picture of a MRT train that I managed to catch with my camera.

Their MRT~!
Later in the night, we went to the Taipei 101 Tower. Actually we can go the the highest floor of the Taipei 101 tower to see the spectacular night view of Taiwan. But since haha it is not included in our tour package and need to buy tickets to go up plus the price is kind of steep we decided to forgo it and just shop in the shopping tower itself. We did not buy anything, just a ink stamp for my sis since she wanted chinese ink stamp for teaching because it was hard to find chinese ink stamp in Singapore. One reason why we didn't buy anything because Taipei 101 shopping tower is like another Orchard. All branded shops and restraunts. Too high class for us to go in =D
We took an escalator to explore the different shops and we saw this restraunt that has hilarious chinese translation for its name...

My parents have decided to be comical and wants to take picture with this "niao di fang"
That's all for the Taipei 101 tower and then we head back to the hotel... Pictures of hotel room for the night below...

Wardrobe...

Our beds...

Sofas....

Dressing table, tv, cups, electrical kettle....

Switches and controls for the room and radio stations that you can tune to and a phone.... but take a closer look at the phone....

What the hell... it says if you need condoms, pls get it from the reception.... -.-"
